Trail Name: Celebration Park/Halverson Lakes Elevation: 2336’
Trail Head facilities: none - in horse trailer parking area -- but at boat launch there are toilet facilities and along the river there are picnic tables w/limited parking that have a use fee.
Road conditions: Paved county roads to last 1/8 mile which changes to native soils.
Directions: From Kuna area: Take Robinson Rd. south, it will die into Dickman Road going west. Follow Dickman Rd. to Can-Ada Rd. Go south on Can-Ada Rd. until you get to Victory. Go west on Victory to the end of the pavement there is a parking area on right just off the pavement .From Highway 45 south of Nampa take Melba Rd east; cross South Side Blvd. and go to Can-Ada Rd. and go south to Victory. From South Side Blvd. go south to Melba Rd. and go east to Can-Ada Rd. then go south to Victory.(stay on Can-Ada past the first sign to Celebration to avoid going through paved parking lot for boats) Can-Ada road makes a slight jog east at Base Line Road.

Celebration Park was established as Idaho's only archaeological park in 1989. It is located on the Snake River at the western boundary of the Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. This area was a wintering ground for Paiute Indians along the Snake River. Travelers worldwide have come to enjoy the high desert flora, scenic land features, and unique Indian art dating to 12,000 years ago. Take a self-guided tour or stop in at the visitor center. Guided tours are available by reservation. Campsites are also available.
